Bye-bye

hey guys!

I have been here for the last 3 weeks and now I have just 3 more days before flying home!

At first it wasn't easy to pass time in Queenswood because everthing was different and new. It needed a little time to get use to the timetable the teachers and the pupils.But them after

a few days I started to enjoy the time here with all my new friends from Spain,Russia,Turkey,.. .

I passed a great time here with the excursions,the bowling,cinema,the shoppingtour in London and and and.I am really happy to have been here and I want to say tanks for this great time to all the teachers,AOs and to all my friends I met here

The 16th century

today I will tell you a story from the 16th century:
Marie is a 12 year old girl in this time but she didn't varnish her nails like we would do it at this age.She had to work the whole day for rich people to earn some money. So every day she had to wake up before sunrise,dresse with always the same clothes since the last years.After that it was her task to get water from the well in the middle of the town Dresdien. In the summer it was more pleasant to do this task but in the winter it was chilly and Maria didn't have a jacket like we have in our time ,she had just her very short dress. So after she got water for a family,just a bucket for 5 people a day ,she had to go to the castle from the Richheiner a rich family.She was the person who has to empty the toilet,which were at this time just buckets.
She had to do that very day.29 times she had to change the buckets and to carry the full ones
outside to a big big hole in the earth.There she had to spill everything in.That was her task the whole day.In the evenings,tired ,she was on the walk home she saw all the poverty the
dirt of this time.But also the funeral and the gallows.In this time it was normal to see people die or people with were killed.But there was one thing,everybody was scared about: THE BLACK DEATH. The whole day Maria was working for a pittance and from this pittance the hole family has to live from.In this case they were just allowed to eat every three days.Very hard but necessary.The father couldn't work because he died at the Black Death and the mother was working but diden't get more than Maria.And the other children were to little to work so it was very difficult to survive in this time.

Does art play an important role in our life?

I think yes...because everybody is doing art every day in every second in our live.

Everybody has a talent if it is singing, drawing or have a talent to take a photo!

Everybody has one and the only thing that is difficult is to discover this talent .

So in this case we went yesterday to the famous museum of modern art.

There I saw a sculpture from Joseph Beuys(1921-1986) ,,The pack'' (1969)

It shows a Volkswagen Bus with twenty-four sleds, each with felt, a flashlight, fat and stamped with Braunkreuz.

The story was that Joseph B was driving with his Volkswagen and carshed and couldn't continue his way so he looked around and found a sled with a felt,a flashlight, fat and stamped with a Braunkreuz. So at the end he could save his life with this sled.

My future life

today I want to describe my future life ..so let's go:

1.This will be my nice,little car.

2.This will be my beautiful house in Italy.

3. And also if this man doesn't have so much on he is very

good-looking and I hope that my future husband will

look a little bid like that

4. In the end I will have twins and I hope that I will be happy with my future life and my future family

Musicals

heyhey...
today our purpose is to write about how I admire. someone... I admire everybody
who works every night in a musical.I love musicals so in this case I also love the dance and
the music.At home I do a lot of music because my school in Stuttgart is very famous for our orchestra and choir....so I love music. Dancing is also one of my passion.
But on the other hand I think that doing the same musical for one or two year is very
strenuous and really hard work.The best part of a musical is to do music all together and to make the spectators feel different emotions and to transport them for a short time to another world.

Windsor Castle

Yesterday we were on our excursion in Windsor Castle.We saw the Castle from out-and inside and both were really great.Outside the garden, there is the castle moat which is sooo beautiful.

Also the changing of guards in the main courtyard was fantastic. After that we visited the inside of the castle,that is the house of the Queen.Is was amazing to see a few rooms with the thousand kinds of guns and the furniture witch was used in the 16-18th century.We also saw the big dollhouse witch was a present for Marry.It was sooo cute and detailed.

After the visit in the Castle we spent two hours in the city around Windsor Castle.

We had a lot of fun an I will always remember Mi's UMBRELLA

Mabye I shoud tell you also that the whole day yesterday the sun was shining!!!!!!
